《产科医生鸿鸟》改编自在《Morning》杂志上连载中的铃木祐树的同名小说，故事讲述了绫野刚所饰演的男主角鸿鸟在出生之后母亲去世，从小在孤儿院长大。立志成为产科医生的他如愿进入医院成为在职医生，偶尔以“BABY”作为一名天才钢琴家出现在公众眼前。
