该片故事比较直白，但却有感人的片段，令人回味。主要描述父亲入狱、母亲重病的姐妹二人为生计被迫做了舞女。姐姐股票失败，险些自杀身亡。父亲出狱后得知女儿受到债主欺凌，伺机报复，不料反遭到杀害。妹妹怒而杀死债主，姐姐则自愿承担罪名入狱……
