虽然Hannah Baker的故事已经说完了，但《十三个原因 13 Reasons Why》的故事仍旧在继续，Netflix正式宣布续订这部根据同名小说改篇﹑在校园界略具争议的剧集第二季，并且Brian Yorkey会接替Diana Son成第二季制作人。在首季讲述了女主为何会自杀后，第二季则会讲述她的死亡引起的余波﹑其他人复杂的康复旅途；第二季集数为13集，预定18年播出。
