本剧是以中国古代为背景，以主题公园的沉浸式体验为核心，不一样的角色，不相同的情境，渲染气氛，设计情节等等，综合各种方式，让观众融入到故事之中。 主题公园的设计不论是从城市布局到房屋设计，生活方式到人物设定等方面，全部仿照中国古代建设，来到这里的每位游客都要遵守主题公园的规则，放下外界的身份，切断和外界的联系，上交所有的私人物品，一切重新开始，体验不一样的人生经历。为了能让游客获得更真实的体验，主题公园在尊重个人隐私的前提下，对公园的各个角落进行了全方位的实时监控，预估事态的各种发展可能，并作出预案，保护着游客的人身安全。同时，针对游客所完成的事件，公园会有一个完成度的评分。
