「魔王」「復活」「サメ」などで知られるパク・チャンホン監督と脚本家キム・ジウが再タッグを組んだ韓国ドラマ「記憶 愛する人へ」が、日本でリメイクされることになり、中井貴一が主演することがわかった。中井は若年性アルツハイマー型認知症を宣告された、50代の敏腕弁護士役を熱演する。2016年に韓国のテレビチャンネル「tvN」の開局10周年記念として制作された同作。ベテラン俳優イ・ソンミンが主演し、人気アイドルグループ「2PM」のジュノがドラマ初出演を果たしたことでも話題を集めた。若年性アルツハイマーのため刻々と記憶が失われていく敏腕弁護士が、最後まで己の尊厳を守るべく戦い、家族との絆や“本当に大切なもの”を確かめる姿を描いた壮大な人間賛歌だ。リメイク版では、中井が主人公の弁護士・本庄英久役に。「韓流ドラマのリメイクですが、日本流の新しいドラマを作るつもりで取り組みたい」と意気込み、「骨太な大人のドラマなので、自分たちの世代にも楽しんでいただけたらと思っています」と真摯に呼びかけた。監督はドラマ「HERO」「5→9 私に恋したお坊さん」の平野眞、脚本は「ラヴソング」の神森万里江が担当。総監督としてオリジナル版のパク・チャンホンが参加しており、日韓のスタッフによるコラボレーションにも期待が高まる。連続ドラマ「記憶」は、18年3月から「フジテレビNEXT ライブ・プレミアム」および「J:COMプレミアチャンネル」で放送開始（全12話）。詳細は公式サイト（http://otn.fujitv.co.jp/kioku/）に掲出されている。
