这部作品以1990年代的音乐界为舞台，描写了后来被称为“平成歌姬”的歌手·AYU和名制作人“MaxMaxMasa”，在音乐场景中掀起许多运动的masa的身姿。主人公是小时候父亲失踪以来，和母亲祖母一起生活的AYU。描写了她一边上高中一边继续当艺人的命运，在与唱片公司“A VICTORY”的专务·masa相遇后开始急剧变化的故事。
