精擅偃术的开朗少年乐无异（付辛博饰），因机缘离家，并因仰慕传说中的偃术大师谢衣（张智尧饰）而踏上偃术修行之旅。旅程中，乐无异邂逅了百草谷天罡战士闻人羽（颖儿饰）、太华山弟子夏夷则（李治廷饰）、身世神秘的美丽少女阿阮（姜雯饰）等伙伴。功夫不负有心人，乐无异找到了谢衣并拜其为师。然而一股名为流月城的势力出现，引出了一个个谜团，同时也使众人陷入一次次危机。乐无异等人与谢衣一同寻找名为昭明的上古之剑，途中遇到流月城大祭司沈夜（邵兵饰）率众来袭，谢衣为救众人身死。乐无异通过谢衣遗留的偃甲“通天之器”，得知谢衣与流月城的关系及流月城的往事。原来沈夜为救即将覆灭的流月城，与砺罂达成合作，此举若成功必将危害人间。为替谢衣报仇，并阻止流月城阴谋，乐无异与伙伴们历尽艰险找到昭明剑心，赶赴至高居九天的流月城，击败沈夜、消灭砺罂，最终阻止了一场灾难的发生。
