《阿斯达编年史》是续《太阳的后裔》之后，韩国男神宋仲基与宋慧乔结婚后回归之作，预计是以古朝鲜为背景的古装剧作品，古朝鲜的首都曾被称为阿斯达，而这部剧传出是一部融合了历史古证和想象力，描写古代人类史的魔幻剧。讲述了在虚设的古代城市“阿斯达”建设理想国度，人们之间斗争、和谐以及相爱的故事。
