从移住至宇宙殖民地开始经过了几百年后的宇宙时代。人们皆以为争夺地球圈霸权的战争结束，和平的时代已经到来，但和平却无常地脆弱瓦解。被宇宙殖民地「诺拉」的联邦军基地阿林斯顿收留，菲利特平安成长到14岁。与基地的工程师一起研究了7年的菲利特终于成功开发出「敢达」。开发成功的敢达搭载了能让机体自行进化的划时代机能「AGE系统」。但是恐惧的时刻即将来临，UE的魔掌终于逼近了和平的宇宙殖民地「诺拉」。此刻，菲利特起动了自己开发制造出的「敢达」迎战。究竟，菲利特能战胜这14年来从未打赢过的恐怖敌人UE吗？
在Ragnar Lothbrok死后，本季故事将围绕Bjorn、无骨人Ivar、Harald Finehair国王、Lagertha和Ubbe五方的权力之争展开。当本季开始时，无骨人Ivar宣布自己是「维京雄狮」的领袖并控制了约克城，而Lagertha则以女王的身份统治着卡特加特海峡。Ragnar的儿子们以各自的方式策划为父亲报仇雪恨，但是Ivar在激烈的争执中谋杀了兄弟Sigurd，引发一系列血腥的内战——很显然其他兄弟并不相信Ivar的解释。Bjorn追随命运来到地中海，还抵达了突尼斯（沙哈拉沙漠的边缘）。Rollo从地中海回到家乡，他已完全改变，但他和家人朋友的关系还是那样紧张。Floki失去了妻子Helga，于是乘船在海上随波逐流，听凭上帝指引他的去向。
反腐题材英剧《重任在肩》第六季于2017年5月获得预订，预计将于2021年在BBC1播出。本季的调查对象将是由Kelly Macdonald饰演的Joanne Davidson总督察，她在侦破一起谋杀案的过程中因采取了脱离常规的调查手段而引起了AC-12的注意。据主创Jed Mercurio透露，这个角色将会是AC-12所面临的最为神秘莫测的对手。
