《49日》讲述南奎丽饰演大婚在即的女子，但却在婚礼前一星期发生意外灵魂离开身体，并被死神告之若言能在49天内找到除亲人外三个愿意为自己流泪的人就能还魂的事实。而丁一宇则饰演掌管人类死亡日期和抓拿死后灵魂的使者，在与南奎丽相处中产生微妙的感情并破例协助她重新返回人间。
