故事发生于2008年5月12日，四川汶川发生了特大地震。“一方有难、八方支援”，全国各地纷纷到达前线救灾，尽自己最大的努力救助受灾群众。山东省日照市莒县东皂湖村的十位农民，第一时间自发地驾驶自家农用三轮车，经历三天四夜，行程三千公里奔赴救灾前线。
故事发生在解放前夕，侠女龙飞飞在实施袭击国民党高官时，遭到了国民党军队的围追堵截，龙飞飞的几个姐妹在奋勇杀敌中先后被击毙，只有龙飞飞一人跳崖得以生还，之后，龙飞飞报仇的信念愈加强烈……一次次的袭击让江淮市驻军惶惶不可终日，龙飞飞所到之处敌军闻风丧胆。国民党侦缉处田处长调来了军中一枝花吉丽冒充龙飞飞并企图追杀她，在一次夜战中，龙飞飞身负重伤被解放军侦察员救获，从此龙飞飞走上了革命的道路，并成为了一名高级特工，被派往湖城展开地下工作。龙飞飞化名何娜，利用军统湖城分局少校谍报员的身份和利用军、警、匪之间的矛盾，把一批批敌人用作潜伏的军用物资安全运抵解放区……
