本剧改编自超人气网络小说家张小花的同名作品。 天界神魔大战打破了人间的平静，玉皇大帝下凡化身为刘老六要将天界战败而落入凡间的神仙送回天界。三流网络作家甄廷强，在一次醉酒后稀里糊涂得与刘老六签订契约，接受了将神仙送回天界的任务。刘老六将天界娃娃送给甄廷强作为其助手，但天界娃娃告诉小强送神仙回天界必须要收集人间的喜怒哀乐等情绪。所以在收集齐这些情绪之前，掉落凡间的神仙只能都暂居小强家，自此小强家开始热
